Cancer-Related Fatigue Toolkit

Cancer-related fatigue (CRF) is one of the most common symptoms experienced by patients with, and survivors of, cancer. It is more severe, more distressing and less likely to be relieved by rest than the tiredness or fatigue of daily life.

To help patients cope with the impacts of CRF, we have created the following resources.

Documents

Cancer-related Fatigue Overview: Two-page overview of CRF symptoms and how fatigue differs from tiredness.

Questions to Ask Your Care Team: Two-page document to help guide a patient or caregiver interaction with doctors, nurses, and others.

Frequently Asked Questions: Three-page to help patients understand the symptoms and effects of CRF, as well as treatment and support resources.

Fact sheet: Two-page sheet providing information on the symptoms, causes, and treatment resources for CRF.

Hosting an Educational Event: Two-page guide on hosting an event to educate your community on CRF.

Treatment Overview: Three-page overview on the ways to screen and assess, as well as reduce and treat CRF.

Treatment Pathway: One page outline for patients on the treatment pathway stages from screening to re-evaluation.

Note: Right now, the resources are only in English. They will be available soon in French and Spanish.

If you would like LC to translate the documents into your local language, please email marketing@lymphomacoalition.org and describe how you will use the resources. There is a limited amount of funds available for translation so translations will be prioritised by organisations with a good plan for dispersing the information.

If you require a copy of the resources below in Microsoft Word, please contact the Marketing Coordinator with your request.

If you are using the whole or any part of a resource listed above, please cite it with “Lymphoma Coalition.”
